Information used to provide CLE and CE credit

When you register for credit, Specialist CLE collects the name you want on your certificate, email address, license type, license number, licensing state when applicable, confirmation that you watched the activity, and the activity selected. The service also records review-question responses, exam answers and scores where required, certificate and completion records, IP address, browser user-agent information, and security-verification results.

This information is used to administer the program, document participation, grade required assessments, issue or verify certificates, prevent abuse, maintain required provider records, and communicate about a registration or certificate. It is not sold.

Service providers and embedded video

This site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare D1, Workers, and, when enabled, Turnstile for infrastructure, storage, and bot protection. Cloudflare may process technical and security information under its privacy policy. Activities use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. Loading or playing an embedded video makes a connection to YouTube; Google's handling of that connection is governed by its policies.

Optional Google Analytics

This site offers optional, consent-based Google Analytics 4 measurement. The Google Analytics tag does not load unless you select Allow analytics. If you decline, the tag remains off and this site does not set Google Analytics cookies. You may review or change your choice at any time through Analytics preferences in the footer.

When allowed, Google Analytics may receive the page URL and title, referral and campaign information, browser and device characteristics, approximate geography, and interactions such as page views, scrolling, outbound-link clicks, and video engagement. Specialist CLE also sends event names for successful registration, completion of required review questions, a passed exam, certificate issuance, and a certificate-download click. Those events do not include names, email addresses, license information, registration identifiers, answers, scores, or certificate numbers. Automatic form-interaction, site-search, and file-download measurement are disabled; email and specified URL-query-parameter redaction provide an additional safeguard.

Google Signals, advertising storage, advertising personalization, advertising user-data collection, and user-provided data collection are disabled. Analytics is not used for behavioral advertising or cross-site ad targeting.

The analytics choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. If analytics is allowed, Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire after up to 180 days, and user- and event-level Analytics data is configured for 14-month retention. Aggregated reporting may remain available under Google Analytics' standard reporting features.

Storage and retention

Program registration, review, exam, completion, and certificate records are presently retained without an automatic deletion schedule so Law Offices of Thomas Ogden can document awarded credit and reissue or verify certificates. Security and operational records may be retained as reasonably necessary to protect and operate the service. A future retention change will be reflected here before it takes effect.

Your choices and questions

You can use the footer's Analytics preferences control to allow or withdraw optional analytics. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not alter this consent flow because Analytics remains off until you affirmatively allow it. Questions about this policy or program records may be sent to thomas@ogden.law.
